This site is dedicated to the memory of Bill Cavanagh.

Bill Cavanagh (Billy Whiz) was born on September 21, 1956. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. He was a loving partner to my Auntie Julia Plinston, a wonderful uncle to all his nieces and nephews, a loving brother to all his siblings, and will be missed by everyone who knew him. I myself , and i'm sure others do, remember him as a fantastic fun and whacky character, he was very musical and creative, and always had the most awesome ideas for songs and anything creative. I remember that Christmas when he and Julia recorded their album Envelopes, which was amazing and made me laugh so much. The first song had some whacky and interesting effects, and the second song was my favorite. The video for the second song included a bright strobe light, and Bill rolling around in the mud when the world came to an end :D . One Memory that i have of Uncle Bill which i treasure the most, is that time a couple of years ago when i was about Ten years old. Me and Bill would always be up at 6:00 AM trying to get their old TV working, we would take it in turns trying the standby button, and about ten cups of tea later, the TV would decide to work :D and then came a very old episode of Doctor Who from the Seventies, which had me and bill laughing on the floor as the effects were so bad! :D When Me, Julia, and my mum Kathy would go out for the day, we would always come back to the house where Bill would be in the same spot where we left him, on the sofa with a cup of tea in his hand while he watched the TV. every time we returned back to the house, we would be greeted by a very happy "Hiya!" As we walked through the door. The memories go way back though. I remember when i was around five or six years old, Me, My brothers Will and Ben and my sister Amy would go up to visit Julia and Bill in Rothbury, which is still my favorite place on earth. We would always get very excited at the thought of going to Metro Land , which used to be a small theme park in a shopping center in Newcastle. Going on the rollarcoaster and the swinging pirate ship were my favorite parts, however only Auntie Julia or Bill would go on with us as my mum was never very good with roller coasters! I used to be obsessed with Straw Bails when i was little , me my siblings and Bill's Son Jack would go out and play on the fields, we would find stones and start throwing them around at eachother, then Bill would say his now infamous phrase "Don't Throw Stones!" In his Geordie Accent :D this is a memorial site for a fantastic and very loved person who always will be missed so much, we all miss you uncle Bill, and we will never forget you! Rest In Peace Pal xx
